Nevada Las Vegas South Stake BSA Chemehuevi Council
Welcome!
I hope this page can be a useful tool in your efforts for the Cub Scouting program for our Primary children! As 2nd Counselor in the South Stake, I want to give access to as many tools for your tool box as I can. I know I have personally evolved with Scouting over the years and I still continue to learn! Sharing with others, participating in BSA Training, and attending Roundtable is the best way to "evolve" with the Cub Scouting program. I encourage all Packs to contact me to share photos or ideas your Dens or Packs have been participating in! You can contact me, Cindy Englehart, at Momovfive@aol.com, so I can post for others to see. Thank each of you for all your efforts in Cub Scouting!
Roundtable...Come one, come all!
Early Bird Roundtable at BSA Office Every 2nd Wednesday 9:30 am and children are WELCOME
Roundtable at Hacienda Heights Chapel Every 2nd Thursday 7:00pm
Did you know that the Cub Scout Uniform has changed?
Older uniforms are still fine to wear, but there is a change. As with the Adult uniform, the former yellow leader blouse will no longer be the one sold, only the khacki. You will notice the yellow blouse in the Trading Post until the sell out. So in case you are considering a purchase, you may want to select the khacki color leader shirt/blouse.
Aware the Adult Leader Volunteer Form has changed?
The old ones will NOT be accepted at the BSA Office. Pick up new ones at the front desk of the BSA Office.
New additional training for all... Weather Training is now available and can be taken online.
