An International Jamboree on the Air will be held Saturday, Oct 18,2008. Our Council has set up a chance for Scouts of all ages to meet Scouts of all ages on the air at Amateur Electronic Supply, 4640 S Polaris Ave, Las Vegas, NV. They will have Ham radio equipment set up for youth to talk with Scouts from all over the world from 9am to 3 pm. Any questions call Dennis Simon, 643-1670 or email at KBUTV@ARRI.net.
Veteran's Day Flag Collection and Retirement
During the week leading up to Veteran's Day (Nov 3-10), those wishing to give their old American Flags the proper send off can leave them at the BSA Las Vegas Area Council office. Great Service project for our Cub Scouts!
Scouting for Food
Details will be shared at the October Roundtable! This is the single largest one day food drive in our community. Collection day will be Saturday, November 15th, many Cub Scouts will be delivering to doors prior to that day.
